HOOAH!!!! Radio

Welcome to HOOAH!!!! Radio, founded October 25th, 2005, and it is the “ORIGINAL” veteran owned, FREE internet-based radio station saluting our Troops, Military Families and Veterans. HOOAH!!!! Radio brings another way for families and soldiers to connect with one another, another way for us to salute our men and women of the US Military and Allied Forces being active duty or a veteran, and to act as a source of entertainment, directed towards their interests and personalities. For them, by them and their families.  HOOAH!!!! Radio is and has been for the last five years the fastest growing and most popular Veteran owned and operated radio station on the internet. We put our proof by providing screenshots of our statistics in our “HOOAH Stats” area of the website, so there is no misleading or falsifying of our statistics, or station ranking among other internet based radio stations it’s all facts and we think we should be an open book to our “Great Listeners and Supporters.”

Dom is a 10 year U.S. Army veteran who knows what it’s like to be alone, and his son was recently deployed to Iraq, our wish for him and ALL other members of the U.S. Military & Allied Forces serving in all branches everywhere in the world, is to feel a personal and active connection to the station and their families….to help them feel that are not separated from Home and Country. HOOAH!!!! Radio also gives veterans a chance to feel connected, to participate once again in the sacred and bonded brotherhood that will always bind us together.

HOOAH!!!! Radio is commencing OPERATION “BRIDGING THE GAP”. Taking the internet by storm one soldier and one family member at a time, Shock and Awe baby! Stay tuned and hold on tight for the ride. We are privately-owned by a military veteran and operated solely by volunteers all around the world. We are Not For Profit Organization, our operating costs are covered by donations and advertisers. Our goal is to also bring awareness and contribute to the many worthy nonprofit organizations that benefit the Troops and their Families.

Radio strives to provide the best variety of music and most entertaining Disc Jockey’s on the World Wide Web. No, you won’t find just a random play list of songs we continually play over and over again like some other online radio stations. Each Disc Jockey at HOOAH!!!! Radio will bring their own personality and unique taste of music. But most of all it’s “LIVE.” Whether you’re at home, at work, in the field, or in garrison you are always guaranteed the widest selection of music and personalities. 

After 5 years of working towards bringing you the great listeners the best entertainment, music, and On-Air Interviews we have created the brand new HOOAH!!!! Radio Media Center which is filled with great Patriotic Songs you can listen to from Independent Artists and Bands, as well as Labeled Artists and Bands.  Patriotic videos that you can stream right from your home computer and share with your friends all over the world from some of the greatest entertainers in the world showing their appreciation and gratitude to the men and woman of the armed forces.  HOOAH!!!! Radio also provides free “On-Air Interviews” for our men and woman or the armed forces deployed around the world.  These interviews are from a wide range of celebrities, bands, artists, nonprofit organization getting their message out about how they help the men and woman of the armed forces.  And, don’t worry if you miss an “On-Air Interview” you can always go back and listen to it later with our new Past Interview section of the website.  This important piece of HOOAH!!!! Radio website allows you to listen to any one of our over 300 past “On-Air Interviews” with artists and celebrities like: 3 Doors Down, Mike Corrado, Ted Nugent, Kansas, Theory of a Deadman, Lee Greenwood, Candlebox to name a few.  We would like to thank all of these great entertainers for taking their time out of their busy schedules and lives to show their support for the brave men and woman of our armed forces.  Keep coming back because you never know what entertainer will be next doing a Live On-Air Interview on HOOAH!!!! Also, we constantly play customized “Shoutouts” by the Troops and their Families. A “Shoutout” is a recording where most anyone with a computer can record their message, in their own voice, and send it to HOOAH!!!! Radio. Once we receive it, we play it for FREE throughout our broadcasts. You can also request that we play your shoutout any time you want to hear it. Unlike other media that broadcast soldier’s messages to their families, the person waiting to hear or see it may miss it, they have to wait with anticipation to see or hear it and usually end up missing it or not even hearing it at all because it was never aired.

We provide two different types of feeds for our listeners, Stereo @ 128k for higher bandwidth listeners and Mono @ 24k for our lower bandwidth listeners. Listening requires safe and free internet media player software (i.e. Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp).  To listen just simply choose your media player of choice at the top of the website, we support many different Media Players as well as giving you the listener the ability to stream HOOAH!!!! Radio on your iPhone or Droid cell phones.
