| | Newport News, Virginia - Operation Troop Aid (www.operationtroopaid.org) and HOOAH!!!! Radio conducted a fundraiser at Manhattens in Newport News, Virginia. The proceeds from the fundraiser will allow over 500 to 600 cares packages to be sent to our brave men and woman of the Armed Forces serving in Iraq and Afganistan. Raffle tickets were sold for $10.00 and individuals were able to be put in to win two tickets for the Grand Prize to the sold out show for Nickelback on March 9, 2007. The headliner besides raising money for our men and woman of the Armed Forces was the great concert put on by Soul Patch (www.soulpatch.com), they performed everything from Nickelback, Pantera, Hinder, ACDC, and some of their own music they had written. HOOAH!!!! Radio listeners were blown away by the performance that was put on by Soul Patch, and hopefully in the upcoming weeks, we can get Soul Patch to come back on HOOAH!!!! Radio again for a live show. The performance by Soul Patch brought a huge crowd in upwards of 300 to 500 people, and it was standing room only. Dom was also given the microphone and the house speakers to be the Master of Ceremonies, and to also keep the entire club rocking with great music, that was also aired directly over HOOAH!!!! Radio.
